Our Story


 
Maggie Morgan, President  Maggie Morgan is a real estate and title law attorney and the President of Morgan & Awad, PLLC.  Maggie grew up in Denton, Texas and graduated from the University of North Texas, where she earned a B.A. in both English Literature and Spanish. She then furthered her education, graduating from St. Mary’s University School of Law with a J.D. After law school, Maggie moved to the DFW, where she began working at a real estate law firm. A year later, she moved to Austin and worked for Chicago Title for nearly two years. Maggie opened and founded Morgan & Awad, PLLC in 2016. Maggie lives in South-Central Austin, where she can be found most frequently with her two rescued Great Danes.

Jasser Awad , Vice-President Mr. Awad is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BA in Political Science.  He worked as a legislative staffer from 2008 to 2010.  He attended St. Mary’s University where he obtained his J.D. and Masters in International Relations.  He has written on property rights and international water law.  After law school Mr. Awad clerked for a boutique immigration firm specializing in business immigration.  He also oversaw the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Project at the Center for Legal and Social Justice. Mr. Awad is a native Central Texan (Go Stony Point Tigers!) and is excited to return and begin building a network to provide back to the community that helped him.
